Terenure Youth Group going strong

The Terenure Youth Group is going strong. We have been hosting activities and trips for secondary school age young people for three years.

The youth club is located in the Evergreen Club, 70 Terenure Road North, D6WH568 and we operate every second Friday during term time.

We have over 25 youth members and six volunteers who support the groups activities. We are affiliated with Foroige.

We are an inclusive club who welcome young people of all backgrounds and abilities to take part in a fun social space. The young people who attend provide the ideas for activities and trips and the volunteers support the achievement of same.

We’ve had great outings to the cinema, bowling, zip-ip and Avon Rí adventure centre. Some the activities we do are art, wood work, tie dye, board games, computer games, team games, quiz, bingo, pictionary, ping-pong, darts and much more.

We are delighted to be taking part in the Foroige Community Spirit Awards for the first time in 2026. The young people have designed murals and engaged with local residents to paint garage and back walls to bring our shared community spaces to live.. The themes of nature, Irish heritage and Terenure heritage were selected by the young people.

New young people and volunteers are always welcome, you can get in touch via email at terenurecsi@gmail.com
