Earth Day Activities April 22nd and 23rd

Hi Everyone,

This weekend is Earth Day and we at Terenure Community Support and Integration will be hosting events to celebrate nature.

First event is on April 22nd at 10.30 in Eaton Square Park, Terenure.

We will be working with Involve Autism to learn about compost and to grow seeds as well as a creative fairy door workshop.

Second event is on April 23rd at 14.00 also in Eaton Square Park, Terenure when we will welcome Éanna Ní Lamhna to guide us on a nature work around the park.

In addition on Sunday will see the establishment of the Terenure Growers whereby we will be welcoming new joiners who are interested in growing all sorts of plants in Terenure. The aim of the Terenure Growers is to share gardening knowledge, seed planting tips, how to make your own compost, seed and plant swaps and hopefully much more.

If any of these events take your fancy, all are free and no need to book just come along and enjoy nature.

In addition to our Earth Day activities DCC annual plant give away will be held on April 26th. Plants will be available from the Evergreen Club Men’s Shed from 3pm.
