Earth Day Fun
We had a great turn out for Earth Day activities on Saturday morning with our friends from Involve Autism. It was absolutely pouring rain but that did not stop the fun. We had two marquees up to keep somewhat drier and many of those participating had been involved in planting their schools sensory gardens to they were showing us how to plant the sees. There were many chocolate treats and fairy door designing too. We very much look forward to future collaborations with Involve Autism.
We also had a nature walk on the Sunday afternoon, in a moment of dry weather which was very lucky. Eanna Ní Lamhna shared her wealth of knowledge on trees, plants and other creatures - politicians and insects ;-) It was very informative and enjoyable and again we look forward to another walk later in the season to see what creepy cralies we might find.
