Terenure Growers has begun

Mary Purcell, fellow community volunteer, and I have established the Terenure Growers group. The aim of the group is a work in progress but intends to include:

Sharing pictures of plants growing locally

Sharing pictures of local fauna, in particular we were delighted to hear about the hairy footed bee, a new species identified in neighbouring Harold’s Cross.

Plant and seed swaps

Information about biodiversity and nature events

Informal talks by local growers

Garden tours of local growers gardens

Nature walks
