Thank you

I feel its always important to adopt and attitude of gratitude so this post is a bunch of thank-yous to the many people who continually support Terenure Community Support & Integration and in particular the regular running of the Migrant Support Group.

As building works were carried out in the Evergreen Club this summer to install a disability friendly toilet and to revamp the kitchen we could not run our weekly migrant support group at the Evergreen.

We’d like to thank one of our volunteers John who provided an alternative location at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on Bushy Park Road so that English classes could continue without interruption.

I would also like to thank the volunteers, both recently joined and those that have been with us sine April 2022, when we first established the group. It has been a fantastic journey thus far and long may it continue.

The migrant support group welcomes all nationalities equally. The group is a social learning group whereby we have Failte Isteach books that can assist all levels of learners but we also will work on specific topics meeting our learners needs such as interview preparation.

We’d also like to thank Ivana Bacik and the Labour party for providing some new chairs to the group. The Evergreen Club relies on such kindness in making sure we have quality facilities to enable group activities.

Last but not least to Ann and the Evergreen Committee we thank you for your continued support of the group.
